Neutrogena Nourishing Naturals Multi Vitamin Moisturizer

Hello loves.

I'm here today with an empty product. To be honest this post should have been done when I originally finished this and to say it's been a month or so is an understatement (oops)

I was totally underwhelmed by this. I didn't expect miracles but I expected something. This didn't deliver any moisture, in fact I found it to be slightly drying on my skin. I don't know why I went into this expecting so much but maybe that could be the cause of why I was so let down when it didn't perform. I do appreciate that it's a cruelty free product but for it supposedly being fragrance free it sure does have a strong aroma to it.

I wouldn't purchase this again. I've never had a great experience with any Neutrogena product. I don't know why but this is one of many products by them I've tested that I haven't enjoyed.

Do you guys like Neutrogena as a brand?

LUSH - Butterball

Don't mind the pink spots, my Candy Mountain bubble bar rubbed off on this while in the bag.

The LUSH Butterball bath bomb is wonderful for any dry skin sufferers like myself. If you're looking for an exciting color show, this isn't it.
But if you want nourished, supple skin this little bundle of joy will provide you with all your wildest dreams. Infused with chunks of cocoa butter this fizzes away filling your bathroom with a subtle vanilla scent. It's simple but leaves the skin feeling nourished.
I've never had softer skin after a bath using anything else.

What are your favorite LUSH products?

Brand Love: Aveeno

Hey!
Does anyone else have that certain brand, where no matter what product you try you are never disappointed? Avenue is that brand for me. As you should know if you've been reading my blog for a while, I suffer with very dry skin. Not just on my face, my entire body. I used to have a bad case of eczema on my legs as a kid. So bad that I used to scream when my mom put lotion on me. Luckily my legs are no longer scaly and embarrassing. I believe I more or less grew out of it as it seemed to go away as I got older and I really didn't start using lotion until my late teens. My mom always preached to me the importance of lotion and now I know why.

Aveeno's Daily Moisturizing Lotion has been the only lotion moisturizing enough for my body, all others I've tried immediately sink in and I'm left with dry skin in about an hour. I haven't used the above face products yet but will report back when I do. I don't expect any disappointments though. I'm really excited to use them as my face is always parched. Unfortunately I'm almost through that entire bottle!

Avenue truly is a great brand all around.

Tresemme Climate Control

The TRESemmé Climate Control system, with our unique Climate Control Complex®, gently cleanses and moisturizes hair while controlling frizz. This advanced hair protection system leaves hair shiny, soft and manageable. Take control of your hair with the TRESemmé Climate Control system and face weather head on.

I love Tresemme as a brand, they are reasonably priced and for the size of the bottles you cannot get a better bargain, I dare you to try. I love to try different shampoos/conditioners! I've yet to find a holy grail however, to be honest I haven't even really found one I love yet. No reason as to why I picked these I just happened upon them on the drugstore and I've never tried the "Climate Control" line before but I know that Tresemme has never let me down.

I find that hair brands tend to have very large claims about their products but rarely live up to them. This time I'm disappointed to say I didn't like this in the slightest.

First, the claims it lives up to; controlling frizz, shiny hair

Claims that didn't make the grade; soft and moisturized

This duo made my hair well not my hair my ENDS so dried out, weak and brittle. Now I've never had the most moisturized hair BUT my ends have never been this dry in my life. At first I thought they might have been dead but I recently went and got a cut and of course they were nice out of the hairdresser but once I got home and the next time I showered using this duo they were once again extremely dry. I am not looking for a shampoo that is going to completely strip my hair of moisture.Yes it holds up to it's climate control claim maybe a little to well though as its to the point where it blocks out humidity and moisture a little too well and strips it right out of your hair.  That was my biggest gripe with this line and unfortunately I will not purchase it again because its only damaging my hair. I hate to say this is the only time I'm disappointed I got such big bottles.

Have you tried the Climate Control line, thoughts?\

Winter and Dry Skin

Hello everyone! My skin is dry naturally and gets about a thousand times more dry during the winter season. I've never for the life of me been able to find any body cream, lotion butter or any moisturizing product to keep the dryness at bay. It's horrible and really unpleasant for me. Recently I hit up Bath and Body Works and picked up two of their holiday creams. The Winter Candy Apple and Vanilla Bean. I'll be honest I mostly bought these for the smells, they smell LOVELY. Do any of you have dry skin and find it difficult to find products to quench your skins thirst?
