Drug Store Haul

 Hello loves!

I have some exciting news to share with you before we get into this drug store haul.
I'm so close to hitting my 25 follower mark on Bloglovin and as you know I wanted to do a giveaway once I reached that goal.

My question for you guys is what would you like for the giveaway?
Originally I wanted to do a Huda Beauty Liquid Lipstick but there's been so many new things released since then!
Leave me a comment below telling me what you would love to see for a giveaway.

I got all the above products (not the charmed aroma candles) for only thirty five dollars! Pretty impressive if I do say so myself. The lipsticks were on sale for $3.99 and the lip liner was only $2.99. Hello steal! The hairspray & blistex were just a couple of things I needed.

I was in desperate need of a new shampoo. I've never used HASK products before but the promise of moisture sucked me in. It says its Paraben and Sulfate free but I read through the ingredients and parabens and sulfates still appear and quite high up in the ingredient list unlike the coconut oil which appears closer to the bottom. Say hello to false advertising. Either way I'm willing to try it and see how it fairs. I'll update you guys once I test it out for a while.

{left to right - 1000 Kisses (lip liner), 220 Dusty Rose, 510 Mayfair Red Lady, 700 Nude Delight & 705 Let's Get Naked}

This lip liner I've seen pop up across many blogs so I have high hopes for it. It's the Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in the shade 1000 Kisses.

I've never used Rimmel lipsticks outside of the Kate Moss Lasting Finish ones which I L O V E.
Usually, I prefer more of a matte finish where as these are more creamy. Looking at the swatch of Nude Delight I'm realizing it may be a bit to light for my skin tone but we will see. These are all from the Rimmel Moisture Renew range and I'm excited to see if these will turn me away from the matte trend I love so much.

Please leave your giveaway suggestions below!

SET ME UP - 24 HR Hold

Are you guys sick of hairspray posts yet?!

I just can't seem to find a holy grail hairspray actually....I've yet to find any "holy grail" hair product. Why is it so hard?

Quick little post today, I know this doesn't follow my Friday faves but since I don't have a favourite product at the moment this is what you get but I hope you still like it!

Herbal Essences is a inexpensive drugstore line of products who have been around for as long as I can remember. I really do like the majority of Herbal Essences products I've tried and the different hairsprays I've tried are by far the best smelling ones I've used.

This one was not a WOW factor for me, another average hairspray out of the hundred's I've probably tried at this point...Smells wonderful like all the other ones but makes your hair crunchy and that's not a great look it also makes it hard to brush through. The crunchiness could be attributed to the MAX hold factor but I don't want my hair to look and like its coated in grease. It does give a great hold though but it doesn't look good which is part of the point of using hairspray. I'l use it up but will continue the search for that perfect hairspray.

I'd like to apologize for my blog lately, I know it's been kind of boring.
What do you guys want to see let me know because I want you guys to like he content I'm posting.

=)

Finding the right product...

Does anyone else ever feel like there's always that one product that you can never to seem to find the "Holy Grail" for?
Mine is hairspray, I have very fine hair and it's impossible to get it to hold a style and I am not joking. Today I curled my hair and I used about a quarter of a can of hairspray...and it still fell out within a couple of hours. Fine hair problems, the struggle is real.

I currently use Aussie but I switch just about every month as I replace it often, haha.
It's okay, doesn't really seem to hold my style to well and makes the hair crunchy to the feel and creates a crunchy look as well, who wants that?
I have been struggling for years trying to find the right hairspray and it hasn't happened yet so I turn to you internet in hopes that someone can give me some suggestions!

If anyone knows of a good hairspray PLEASE let me know what you use?

=)

Tresemme Oh la la

Two posts in a row? Who would have thought I was capable!? Haha.

Hello guys, well I have another hair product review for you today the Tresemme hairspray. Tresemme is a fairly cheap drugstore brand, this was about $3.50 CAD. As you can see the can is very large so all in all a great value.

I use A LOT of hairspray on the daily, like I said in my previous post fine hair does nothing without it. I don't spend a lot of money on hairspray because I don't notice a big difference. I actually keep coming back to Tresemme! It's cheap it doesn't make your hair crunchy which is hard to find in a hairspray and it smells nice.  The hold on this isn't the worst but it's not the best, Tresemme has five different levels of hold as you can see I have #3. It doesn't hold all day I'll be honest but it holds up through my work day which is all I need.

I don't think I'll be spending much more money on hairspray in the near future as I am content with this. =)
