A real 3 minute miracle?

Good morning lovelies!

I've never been good to my hair, I'll admit it. When I dye it I box dye it and I've never bothered to fish out more money for the more expensive hair care although the older I get the more I'm beginning to think it might be worth it. In the mean time though I've been on the hunt for affordable options to help bring some life back to it.

Say hello to Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle. There are raving reviews about this across the board. Of all the one's I've read I've seen maybe one or two negative thoughts. This was only four dollars so of course I was skeptical. Although it's formulated with silicones which are known to be bad for the hair that's not an issue for me. The moisture aspect of this was extremely subtle, the ends of my hair are still extremely dry and lifeless looking but it did bring slight shine and softness to the rest of my locks. I've only been using this once a week so I'm going to try using it maybe twice and see if that makes any difference in the moisture levels. The one thing I found this helped with substantially was that after using, my fine hair was so much easier to brush through and less tangled than normal and anyone with fine hair knows what a tangled mess it can become.

For four dollars I think it's definitely worth a shot and just because it didn't do wonders for me doesn't mean it won't for you!

What do you use to revive your hair?

Aussie's Mega Moist Range

Hello loves!

So much for the beginning of spring. As I type this the sky outside is gray & clouded over. Where's the sunshine we've been waiting for?!

I had a phase for about two years where I was box dying my hair at least once a month if not more and it has caused permanent damage. I've managed to salvage it some what by using coconut oil as a hair mask a couple times a week.

With it being so dry and brittle I'm always on the hunt for moisturizing products. Aussie is a well known and affordable drug store brand. I've tried many of the products they have to offer and am seldom disappointed.

The mega moist range promises to quench thirsty locks but I discovered it did the exact opposite. My hair was extremely dried out every time I used these in the shower it felt like they pulled all the moisture out of my locks. Not only did it not live up to its moisturizing claim it made my hair frizzy and I have never had issues with frizz.

Aussie you really did disappoint me this time around. Maybe it's because I have fine hair but this had nothing but negative outcomes.

Finding the right product...

Does anyone else ever feel like there's always that one product that you can never to seem to find the "Holy Grail" for?
Mine is hairspray, I have very fine hair and it's impossible to get it to hold a style and I am not joking. Today I curled my hair and I used about a quarter of a can of hairspray...and it still fell out within a couple of hours. Fine hair problems, the struggle is real.

I currently use Aussie but I switch just about every month as I replace it often, haha.
It's okay, doesn't really seem to hold my style to well and makes the hair crunchy to the feel and creates a crunchy look as well, who wants that?
I have been struggling for years trying to find the right hairspray and it hasn't happened yet so I turn to you internet in hopes that someone can give me some suggestions!

If anyone knows of a good hairspray PLEASE let me know what you use?

=)
