Product Regret | The WORST BB Cream

Oh hello loves.

This post is nothing like my regular content and I almost feel bad enough that I don't want to publish it but on the other hand I don't want any poor unfortunate soul picking this up.

The Loreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream in Light.
Where do I even begin with this product?

When it first comes out of the tube it's a thin white liquid but as you start rubbing it into your skin it oxidizes immediately! I'm not talking a little oxidization here I'm talking full blown orange.

In the above photo you can see that it looks like a normal face cream and here you can CLEARLY see the line of where I've rubbed it in. The first time I went to use this on my face the moment I saw the orange I immediately washed it off. It turned me so orange that I could be could have been cast as an oompa loompa.
It looked so horrendous that I couldn't even bear to give it a proper testing by trying it out on my face. This color is supposed to be light I can only imagine what the other tones look like.
There are so many good reviews on this and I just don't understand how it could possibly receive such high ratings?

If you've tried it and had a good experience, please let me know!

MURAD Invisiblur and my thoughts on "face and skincare" samples

Hey guys, I have a quick review and a rant of sorts on face//skincare samples.

First my thoughts on a sample I received during my last cheeky online order at Sephora, I do love that every time you order online from Sephora you can choose three samples it's a great way to try a lot of different things not to mention The deluxe samples you can get with the Beauty Insider card.

The sample choices this time around weren't too great so I got this along with a Lacoste and Marc Jacobs perfume sample (neither of which appealed to me)

The MURAD Invisiblur is a foil packet sample, honestly looking at the front I wasn't too sure exactly what it was to be used for however the back of the packet said it could be used as a primer which is how I used it.
The product inside is different than any other product I've used it feels like a thinner consistency Vasoline or petroleum jelly and it's clear in colour...odd I thought and there was no scent what so ever.
When applied it's fairly greasy which I didn't mind too much as I have dry skin. This didn't seem to make my makeup last any longer than any other primer and with just a sample foil packet I really could see no difference in any of the benefits claimed on the front of the packet which brings me to my thoughts on certain samples....

When you receive a skincare or face sample I don't know about you but it's fairly rare that I will go out after trying one sample of a foil product and buy the full size  there is just absolutely nothing I can gain from a sample unless it's like a BB cream or tinted moisturizer but skin care samples like lotions or cleansers etc. I don't see the point to these minuscule samples that if a skincare line for example are meant to work after a week or so it's rare that a person will notice effects like that after using a sample. In my opinion at least send out a mini jar or something as a sample that may give the user a little more time to test it out and create an opinion.

What are your thoughts on foil packet samples?

GOSH 3 in 1

image
GOSH’s 3 in 1 BB Cream is the first BB cream I’ve used. Unless you’re looking for a fairly light or natural coverage I wouldn’t personally use this as a foundation although lately I have been as my skin’s been quite bad lately so I don’t want to cake it with multiple layers of makeup. I don’t mind that this is a normal squeeze tube but it leaks, BIG TIME. Every time I take the lid off there’s product everywhere….GOSH you need to work on the design as this is a massive waste. I got the shade Sand (the lightest shade available) and its almost too light for my skin although the second shade was darker unfortunately. It’s not a bad cream, fairly light coverage it does cling to dry patches though but my skin is so dry it’s almost impossible for me to find anything that doesn’t. Aside from the bottle design I don’t have anything bad to say about this product. It’s light good for days you want something not too heavy and stays put. I don’t think it does any more than other BB creams I’ve tried though.
