Sally Hansen

Hey, first off I'd like to apologize for the shoddy job I did on my nails I couldn't get all the previous black polish off and I cut my nails and it's actually difficult I find to paint nails when they're short.

You can see the polish in the first photo I have no idea how old this is or where it's from as I found it at my moms and then it just ended up moving with me haha. It's a Sally Hansen polish but it doesn't have a name it does have a 04 on the top of the lid so I'm guessing it goes by numbers.

I'll be honest I have no clue what the Teflon in this polish is used for or supposed to do...haha. It's a nice polish it,s a very shimmery red but not bright and in your face! This stuff dries almost instantly it was dry by the time I finished the first nail on the other hand, amazing? Yes. I love the color it would make a great Christmas color of used with a silver sparkle or a green accent nail maybe? It hasn't lasted any longer than any other polish though unfortunately. I am constantly on the search for one that will.

Great polish by a great brand and Sally Hansen polishes are fairly decent priced.

If you ladies know of a great polish brand, let me know in the comments!

e.l.f. - Dream Maker

Hey everyone quick little polish review here! E.l.f.s dream maker glitter polish is what I'm talking about today. I got this polish in the brights nail cube for $14 CAD.

For the base and non accent nail I used H&M polish in "Chill out!" And for my accent nail I used Dream Maker it's hard to do a review on glitter polish as I and not many others wear a full hand of glitter! but I still felt like sharing. It's been three days and not one chip on either hand although to get even the smallest amount of glitter on my nail I had to layer and layer and layer and everyone knows how long glitter polish takes to dry, so that was a pain. I do like it it's silver glitter nothing too extravagant but still stands out and for about $1 a polish you really can't go wrong! I can't believe it's held up through dish washing and vigorous hand rinsing, that makes it fantastic in my book!

MAC - Russian Red (Matte)

Hey! I'm back with a quick review of my FAVORITE lipstick.  I'm sure a lot of people will know what it just by the pictures, it's the infamous Russian Red Matte finish lipstick by MAC. I am a sucker for matte lipsticks in my opinion they look better than any other finish on the market,

The above swatch was one swipe, MAC is known for their well pigmented products. Yes it's a matte and that means it's trying, now I have an addiction to Blistex Medex balm so I have no problem in the dry lip department but if you do, be warned before wearing this it would be a good idea to scrub and put a balm underneath.

Russian Red lasts for hours on me, just about a full 8 hour work day, I generally re apply a couple hours before the end of the day as it will fade within the middle of your lips if you are drinking or eating a lot. I give this lipstick a 10/10 but I'm a lover of reds and mattes!

February Favorites

Hey everyone, yes I have NEVER done a monthly favorites...so here we go... tbh I have been through some financial problems lately so my favorites are mostly old products but I wanted to show you guys anyway!

Victoria's Secret, Love Spell Body Spray -- I LOVE this body spray the scent is cherry blossom & peach definitely more of a summer scent but hey that hasn't stopped me from wearing it. Actually this has become my favorite scent in my collection and I am quite the body spray fanatic.

Lancome Bi Facil eye makeup remover - This is the best eye makeup remover I have ever used and I wear very heavy mascara and eyeliner on a daily basis. It does have oil for you girls or guys out there who don't prefer an oil based remover. However this stuff is so gentle and you're not needlesly tugging at your eye trying to get your makeup off and to get rid of that oily feeling just rinse your face off with water.

A cult favorite - Benefit's Hoola Bronzer - As we all know this has been hyped up for years in the beauty world, great for fair skinned people as it doesn't make you look like you just rubbed dirt on your face. I have that problem a lot....

Rimmel London's Wake Me Up foundation -- When swatched on the hand this stuff looks like a glitter party broke out, oddly enough it doesn't transfer like that on your face., probably to date the best drugstore foundation I've tried but not if you're looking fors omething matte.

e.l.f. studio cream eyeliner -- $3, this little jar of miracles only cost THREE DOLLARS, let me repeat that one more time! If you have not tried this go to e.l.f right now and order it. This is not waterproof but it's withstood every cry I've had with it on, doesn't smudge and I've had for a few months and it hasn't dried out, for three dollars I don't think I'll ever try another eyeliner.

Cetaphil moisturizer -- I'm one to constantly complain about dry skin especially in Alberta's cold harsh winters but this has stopped that and it hasn't bothered my skin at all but it has made it feel ten times more moisturized.

That's everything, what were you guys loving this month?
